Please try it out and let us know what you want to see on the site. Competition classes for the next year have been added ModelKraft 2008 was held at Stantonbury Campus Leisure Centre on Sunday 3rd February 2008
Thanks to everyone who came along and helped us make the show a success. Comments received from both clubs and traders say that this was our best show to date, even those who were up on the third floor. Inevitably, there were a few problems that we hope to resolve for next year. The venue had over 500 car parking spaces but those were full by 9.am so apologies to anyone who wanted to come but were unable to find space. The Centre organisers said that they underestimated the response we had and that additional car parking can be made available if we hold the show there next year, they will also put more staff on to the cafe area. See a slideshow of ModelKraft 2008 Keep on sticking, Derek If you look at the links on the left of every page, you will see that we have a Diary, Guest book and Forum for you to peruse at leisure and to add your input. About the clubMilton Keynes Scale Model Club is one of the countries top scale plastic modelling clubs, with members from Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas. Our members build all types of models. The current types of models built include; aircraft, armour, ships, figures, cars and science fiction. One of the strengths of the club is the willingness of all members to share their knowledge and experience with others. We aim to help others improve their models and encourage the newcomer or old hand. We can show you how to make it, paint it, finish it, weather it and display it. In short, you are sure to come away from every meeting of the Milton Keynes Scale Model Club having learned something new. Whether you regard modeling as a pass time, making no more than a couple of models a year, you are a younger modeller keen to get more information, or you have years of experience, but always worked alone, the Milton Keynes Scale Model Club has something to offer. Meetings are held on a monthly basis, on the fourth Wednesday in every month (except December, when it is on the third Wednesday) at the Cranfield Campus Social Club, Wharley End, Cranfield, Bedford, MK43 0AL, close to Junctions 13 & 14 of the M1, starting at about 7.30pm.
